Based on your role within Fairmarkit, you will have access to different views and routines.
Buyer users can see only requests that are directly assigned to them or that they have created themselves unless they are a part of a Team. They are also able to create and edit Suppliers, depending on your configuration, as well as Supplier Groups, Categories, and Addresses.
Team Leads and Buyers that are part of a team can reassign their events to any team member, an organization Supervisor, or an organization Admin with this permission. If your organization doesn't use Teams, Buyers can reassign events to any other Buyer within your organization.
Buyer users are similarly only able to see messages from suppliers on requests that are directly assigned to them.
Supervisor users are able to see all requests assigned to all users at their organization. The assigned user will appear under the request title.
They can also use the Assignee search filter to find requests associated to specific users at their organization.
From the Actions menu within a request, Supervisor users can use the Reassign feature to move requests between other users.
Supervisor users are also able to see chat messages sent to all users at their organization in the Messaging tab and can filter between users.
Observer users have read-only access to all requests.
Admin users have all permissions assigned to Supervisor users with the addition of access to the Administration panel.
Learn more about the Administration panel here: Using the Administration Panel.
Requester users have access to create and submit drafts for review and approval by a Buyer, Supervisor, or Admin user with approval permissions. Once approved, they will have view-only access of their requests as they progress through Fairmarkit, as well as the ability to communicate with the suppliers associated to their requests.
Learn more about the Requester role here: Using Fairmarkit as a Requester.
Collaborator users may have view or edit access to the events to which they were invited by other users, depending on that user's selection.
The Collaborator can be invited to an event that is in Draft status. To invite a Collaborator, click the Share button in the top right corner of the Request page, then a modal window will open where you can specify a name or email of a user to be added as a Collaborator and select an access level (for RFQ and reverse auction choices are: Can view, Full access; and for RFP/RFI: Can view, Can edit).
You can remove or change the access level if needed in the same window at any time.
