To close a request before the scheduled close date, enter Fairmarkit's dashboard and click on the Opened tab to see all requests out for bid. Locate the request that needs to be closed.
To the far right of the title, next to the Received column there are three little vertical dots, commonly referred to as the "hamburger" button. Click the hamburger icon as indicated above, then select the Close option.
Once selected, the request will move from the Opened list of RFQ's and will now appear under Closed.
A buyer can also close a bid from the edit page of the RFQ by selecting Close on the Actions menu.
Both methods of closing the request will result in the RFQ appearing under the Closed tab. You will now be able to award this request to the supplier of your choice.
Learn more about awarding your request here: How To Award Bids.
