Want to add an item from Amazon, Grainger, or CDW to Fairmarkit with a single click? Here's how:
Fairmarkit is proud to introduce the 1-click RFQ. You can now add items from some of the largest supplier websites with one click using our Fairmarkit Chrome extension.
Often buyers use large, marketplace websites to source items. It can be cumbersome to copy and paste the information from these sites into Fairmarkit. Now, with our extension, you can click the Fairmarkit icon in the taskbar on the item page you wish to send out for bid, and have a draft requisition ready in seconds.
To get started with installation, please contact support@fairmarkit.com.
(Note: this extension only works for the Google Chrome browser)
Once the extension is installed, click the icon and use the LOG IN button to link to your Fairmarkit account. Now, whenever you are on a page with an item on it from the following sites, the icon will turn blue, letting you know that it has recognized the item and is ready to create an RFQ for it:
- Amazon (www.amazon.com)
- Grainger (www.grainger.com)
- CDW (www.cdw.com)
- SHI (www.shi.com)
- Uline (www.uline.com)
- MSC Direct (www.mscdirect.com)
- Fastenal (www.fastenal.com)
- PCM (www.pcm.com)
- Connection (www.connection.com)
- Staples Advantage (https://www.staplesadvantage.com/)
- Best Buy Advantage (https://www.bestbuybusiness.com/)
- Broadcasters General Store (https://www.bgs.cc/)
- Dell Marketing (https://www.dell.com/dm/business/p)
- B&H Photo and Video (https://www.bhphotovideo.com/)
- SoftChoice (https://www.softchoice.com/)
Once you click the icon, a pop-up will appear, auto-populating the item details, including the name, manufacturer part number, description, quantity, and benchmark price.
Any of the information captured here can be edited before clicking SOURCE ON FAIRMARKIT to generate a draft RFQ.
After this is done, the pop-up will inform you that the RFQ has been created, providing a reference number and allowing you to view the draft in Fairmarkit by clicking the VIEW RFQ button.
From here, the process is the same as working any of your drafts in the Fairmarkit dashboard. Review the RFQ, adding closing dates and times, enter shipping information, attach files, and review supplier choices. The RFQ is now ready to be sent out to bid!
Please don't hesitate to reach out to us at support@fairmarkit.com if you have any questions.
