For larger requests from your customers, it can be helpful to use the Fairmarkit Import Template to respond to the request in Excel and upload your pricing into Fairmarkit.
After clicking on the Export/Import button, select the Download line items option to output a pre-formatted Excel spreadsheet of your customer's request.
This pre-formatted Excel spreadsheet populates with all of the relevant information from the RFQ.
Columns A through M contain information that the Buyer has provided which should not be changed while addressing an RFQ via Excel.
You can find more information about each section by hovering over the red arrow in the corner of each heading in the Excel file.
Column N contains the Bid on this Line header. Use this column to indicate whether you intend to provide pricing for this line. A response of Yes indicates that you will provide pricing, while a response of No indicates that you will not be bidding on this line.
In Column O, specify your Quote Number next to the Quote Number field in Column N. Your quote validity defaults to 30 days, but can be changed to 5, 10, 15, 60, 90, 180, or 365 as needed. The buyer's chosen currency will appear here, but can be changed using the appropriate three letter Currency Code. You can log your unit price or response to a buyer question under the Unit Price/Response header.
Column P contains the Delivery Days header. Use this column to indicate your lead time in days for each line item.
Column Q contains the Supplier SKU header. Use this column to share your SKU for an item if one is available. This column is optional.
