With Fairmarkit, you no longer need to keep track of all your questions from suppliers in your inbox. All RFQ and RFP communication can happen within Fairmarkit for your ease and convenience. Once an RFQ has been opened, use the messaging feature to answer supplier questions and perform necessary follow-up.
There are two types of communication: Messages (1:1 conversations with suppliers) and Clarifications (1:many announcements to all suppliers on a request).
You can access all your messages by selecting “Messaging” on the left menu panel.
To begin a message with a supplier on a particular RFQ, click on the Chat Bubble icon to the right of the supplier's name on the RFQ Details page. When a supplier sends you a message on a request, you will receive a notification via the bell icon in the top right corner of Fairmarkit.
If you want to send a note to all suppliers on the RFQ or RFP (to answer an FAQ, give additional information about the request, etc.), this is called a Clarification. Click on the “Comments” drop down in the top left corner of the RFQ details page, and select “Supplier Clarifications.” These announcements will appear on all the supplier bid pages.
