Fairmarkit is now available in a number of different languages to allow you to more easily interact with the platform in your chosen language.
As of May 19th, 2022, Fairmarkit will end native platform support of the following languages: Dutch, Hungarian, Polish, Portuguese, and Russian. We recommend our users to leverage the resources mentioned below to change languages and to translate Fairmarkit’s platform based on the browsers supported by us.
Fairmarkit defaults to English for all new users, but you can change the language in which you interact with Fairmarkit by clicking the language button next to your name in the top right corner.
Current Available Languages
The following options are currently available for all users:
When selecting a new language, all Fairmarkit fields will be changed to the new language for your user. This selection will be saved for each time you log in to Fairmarkit until it is changed. Any text entered by the user or populated via an integration with any outside software will not be translated. This includes information such as your Terms and Agreements and NDA language.
Localization
Your selection will also localize the date (e.g. DD/MM/YY) and currency (e.g. 1.000,00) formats used to that of the countries associated with your selection. This will not change the currency in which your requests will be sent out, which you can manage on the Draft page before opening.
Supplier Translations
Emails sent to suppliers will be sent in the primary language associated with the country in their address if a value for that country has been populated in Fairmarkit, otherwise they will default to English. Suppliers will have the option to update their language preference for Fairmarkit through the email notifications, as well as in their Fairmarkit Supplier Portal accounts and directly on the bid page.
